A.  aluminum sign blanks 4'x8'
 
1. The material used for the bottom plate of aluminum sign blanks 4'x8' is 3mm thick aluminium alloy plate. The material properties should meet the requirements of GB5768, GB/T6892 and JT/T279.
 
2. The edges and angles of the  aluminum sign blanks 4'x8' should be chamfered appropriately, in a smooth shape, and must be polished smoothly, without burrs on the edges.
 
3. The dimension deviation of the  aluminum sign blanks 4'x8' is ( 5 mm) in general. If the dimension is larger than 1.2 m, the deviation is ( 0.5%) in the shape dimension and the angle deviation of the adjacent side is 0.5 (?)
 
4. The flatness tolerance should not be greater than 1.0 mm per square metre.
 
5. No cracks, obvious scratches, damage and color inhomogeneity are allowed on the  aluminum sign blanks 4'x8'; no bubbles with a total area of more than 10 mm2 are allowed on any surface with an area of 50 *50 cm2, and no inhomogeneity of anti-reflection performance is allowed.

 
6. Screen printing should be used when producing a large number of identical signs (especially national standard warnings, bans, traffic signs, etc.).
 
7. When installing on the bridge anti-collision wall, the  aluminum sign blanks 4'x8' should be fabricated according to the radian of the side of the anti-collision wall.


B. Traffic Sign Slots and Reinforcements
1. Aluminum sign blanks 4'x8' chute is made of the same kind of material as the performance of the sign bottom plate, and aluminium alloy hot extrusion profiles can be generally used.
2. Aluminum chutes with a width of 10 cm and a spacing of 50 cm are used behind traffic signs above 2 square meters. The material properties should meet the requirements of GB/T6892.
 
C. Traffic signs and signs
 
1. Traffic aluminum sign blanks 4'x8' should generally use more than four levels of reflective film (commonly referred to as engineering level), with special requirements to properly improve the level of reflective film.
 
2. Reflective film should be pasted on the whole marking surface and exceed the edge by at least 2 cm. Redundant parts will be removed after the film is pasted. No splicing shall be allowed within 5 cm from the edge of the logo board.
 
3. For the large area of the film, the film-sticking machine should be used.
